In our quest to find environmental solutions through verifying new processes and technologies, NJCAT also sponsors educational opportunities and conferences to examine critical environmental and energy issues.

Education the foundation of the organization.  Using our the networks NJCAT links experts, funding sources, government representatives, businesses and new technologies to find environmentally sound technologies.  We  hold our own and will advertise classes and talks hosted by others. Tuesday July 15, 2003   The New Jersey Chapter of the Society of Women Environmental Professionals meeting for an overview of the NJCAT programs.  The meeting will be held at NJCAT offices located at the New Jersey EcoComplex.  The New Jersey EcoComplex is the nation's first environmental experiment station for research, research demonstration, education and outreach

July 14, 2003 NJCAT/NJDEP Verified Technology Overviews: 
1-4 pm, NJDEP Public Hearing Room 

This session will highlight two newly verified NJCAT technologies: 

  •  FerriMet process for removal of metals, including arsenic, from water to trace levels by coprecipitation filtration; and 
  •  ISO-GEN process, which increases dissolved oxygen in groundwater by placement of electrolytic cell into wells.

     

October 24, 2002    NJCAT along with the EcoComplex and the DEP will sponsor an event to discuss water supply issues in New Jersey.  “Beyond the Drought:  The Fluid Nature of Water”at the EcoComplex in Columbus.  The program will bring together experts in the field of water supply from around the state and around the nation.
